Privacy & cookies

• Account data — email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), plus the optional profile details you enter at sign-up: name, country, city, gender and age.
• Your crate — the track metadata you import or add manually (title, artist, BPM, key, genre, length, playlist name and optional catalog identifiers). We do not host or store your audio files.
• App content — the sets you generate or edit, track replacements and your conversation with the AI mentor.

We use your data to run your account, keep your library and sets available across devices, generate set recommendations and transition coaching, and to improve the product. Track metadata and your prompts are sent to our AI provider to produce recommendations. We do not sell your personal data.

DJ Mentor AI uses a small number of browser storage items rather than advertising cookies:

• Essential — your authentication session, so you stay signed in, and your cookie choice itself. These are required for the app to work.
• Preferences (optional) — interface settings such as filters and view options that make the app easier to use on return visits.

You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which will sign you out.

We rely on a hosting and backend platform for the application, database, authentication and storage, an AI provider for set generation and coaching, an email provider for account and notification emails, and a music catalog API to verify and enrich track metadata. These providers process data only to deliver the service to you.

Your library, sets and mentor conversation stay in your account until you delete them or ask us to close your account. You can delete individual tracks, playlists, sets or your whole crate from the app at any time. When an account is closed, its data is removed from our live systems.

You can access and correct most of your data directly in the app. For access, correction, export or deletion requests, or any privacy or security question, contact theactuary9@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
